Control Software Engineer (all genders welcome)
Your Role
Freshly cooked food. Everywhere. All the time.
With our robots, we’re transforming the way the world cooks and enjoys food. Through technology that supports the foodservice industry, reduces food waste, and elevates culinary quality to a new, scalable level. Accessible to everyone. Everywhere. Anytime. We give our all to make this happen - across every level, team and function.
As a Control Software Engineer, you develop the intelligence behind our cooking robots - from motion planning and sensor integration to precise actuator control. Your algorithms ensure that our systems operate not only reliably, but also safely, efficiently, and with culinary excellence. In doing so, you play a key role in making sure our technology delivers real value in real kitchens.
These are the tasks you will be responsible for:
- Development and implementation of control algorithms for our robotic systems (e.g. for process planning and control, temperature regulation, sensor integration)
- Programming of embedded software on microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS) for precise actuator control
- Integration of sensors and actuators into the existing system architecture to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. hardware, UI/UX, food design) to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Testing, debugging, documenting, and optimizing the control software in real cooking scenarios and on prototypes
