For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.
As a Business Methods Engineer, you support SAP Key Users in manufacturing engineering. You assist users, maintain data and processes, and contribute to testing, training and SAP projects.
Your tasks
- Support established SAP Key Users in maintaining the core systems SAP PDA and ARP (Airbus Resource Planning, PEA) for routing, work order creation and master data
- Handle requests from end users in work preparation (Operational ME, Manufacturing Engineering) and production areas through first-line support; assist with operational system issues and application questions
- Help validate, maintain and optimize ME master data, routings and production control data in SAP
- Conduct user tests (Business Acceptance Tests) for system changes and help prepare and deliver training
- Actively contribute to and coordinate SAP projects, for example in stakeholder management, capacity planning and reporting
Your profile
- Technical degree or a degree in business informatics, industrial engineering or supply chain/logistics, in each case at least at Bachelor’s level
- More than four years of professional experience in work preparation and more than four years in manufacturing engineering
- More than two years of professional experience in production planning or control, more than two years in IT/information systems and more than two years in project management
- Knowledge of detailed SAP/MM-PP functions and knowledge of Google Workspace
- German at negotiation level and proficient English
- Experience with Skywise or other data analytics tools is desirable; SAP scripting is an advantage
- Ability to quickly recognize and analyze technical relationships and how systems work; an independent, structured and results-oriented approach to achieving goals on time and coordinating workflows efficiently
- Strong communication skills for working with contacts at all levels, a high level of service orientation and a structured approach
