Working Student - Technical Analysis & Improvement (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of technical vessel data to identify trends, irregularities and potential early indicators of technical issues
  • Support in first-step failure investigations through clear, structured analytical summaries
  • Development of practical recommendations that help prevent recurring technical problems
  • Close collaboration with Fleet Team Superintendents during daily technical assessments and evaluations
  • Assistance in reviewing maintenance activities, upgrades and reliability-related improvements
  • Preparation of concise reports and comparisons to support engineering and safety decisions
  • Participation in internal meetings and reviews related to vessel condition and technical performance
  • Maintenance of organized, transparent and accessible technical documentation

Your Profile

  • Enrolment in a technical degree such as Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineering, Data Science for Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data, logs and performance indicators
  • Confident use of common IT tools, especially Excel; experience with Power BI or similar analysis tools is an advantage
  • A structured, reliable and detail-oriented working style when dealing with technical information
  • Initial familiarity with ship systems or root-cause analysis methods is beneficial
  • Clear, concise communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others
  • A proactive and curious mindset, combined with the ability to move tasks forward independently
  • Fluency in English
