Service Technician - Hotel Technician - AIDA Riding Team - onboard
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair of hotel technical systems onboard, including plumbing, sanitary, and water systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of water distribution, sewage, and grey water systems.
- Carry out installation and repair of pipes, valves, and related equipment.
- Maintain and service hotel equipment such as laundry machines, galley equipment, and sanitary systems.
- Troubleshoot technical actions implement corrective actions.
- Support planned maintenance and emergency repairs as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards onboard
Your Profile
Education:
- High School diploma with technical focus or vocational training in mechanics, plumbing, or maintenance.
Professional & Experience:
- Experience in facility maintenance, hotel equipment, or similar industries.
- At least 8 years of experience in plumbing industry, from which at least 6 years on board large cruise vessels and 2 years of experience in plumbing industry.
Professional Skills:
- Knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems, and basic electrical systems.
- Experience in welding, brazing, and pipe fitting is an advantage.
- Familiar with maintenance of laundry, galley, and sanitary equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting and repair skills for technical systems.
Certifications:
- As per applicable Mandatory Certification Matrix (Marine HR).

- Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset
- Problem-solving and hands-on approach
- Teamwork and collaboration and ability to work in multicultural environments
- Proactive and responsible working attitude
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for effectively interacting with onboard and shore-based colleagues.
