Quality Conformance Manager (d/m/w) AIRBUS

As a Quality Conformance Manager (d/m/w) in Hamburg, the role focuses on quality assurance, structured problem solving and process excellence within a global operations and training environment. The position coordinates quality notifications and corrective actions across the spare parts and kits portfolio while serving as an important interface between international teams, technical experts and customer-facing functions.

• Monitor, validate and analyse incoming Notification of Escape (NOE) and Quality Survey Report (QSR) requests, assessing their operational impact on spare parts and kits.
• Define, coordinate and implement rapid containment measures to mitigate quality defects and prevent non-conforming items from affecting customer operations.
• Manage Discrepancy Reports related to NOE, QSR and CAPRI processes, ensuring that quality tasks are validated, assigned, tracked and closed efficiently.
• Coordinate Airworthiness Directive analysis and resolution, including the structured assessment of safety-related items and the implementation of appropriate follow-up actions.
• Represent QSR processes during internal and external quality audits and demonstrate compliance with applicable aerospace quality standards.
• Work with international colleagues and global expert networks to align containment activities, exchange specialist knowledge and resolve complex quality topics.
• Contribute QSR expertise to cross-functional transformation initiatives, process management activities and continuous process improvement projects.
• Support customer satisfaction by applying structured problem-solving methods and maintaining a consistent focus on quality, reliability and timely resolution.

Voraussetzungen

• Completed technical education or a relevant qualification in aircraft construction, engineering, or aerospace; comparable expertise in an aerospace-related discipline is suitable.
• Several years of professional experience in aircraft manufacturing, aerospace mechanics, quality management, quality assurance, maintenance, or upkeep/maintenance services.
• Practical knowledge of process improvement, process management, and Total Quality Management, including structured problem-solving methods.
• Experience in analyzing quality deviations, coordinating containment activities, and driving corrective actions through to completion.
• Ability to work independently, organize priorities effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail when handling complex quality topics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in multifunctional teams and with international expert networks.
• Confident German and English language skills for professional communication in a global working environment.
• Working conditions include full-time employment with 35 hours per week.
