Project Supervisor (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:

Are you passionate about maritime engineering and hands‑on ship projects? Do you enjoy working onboard vessels while staying closely connected to a shore‑side organization? Then this role could be the perfect fit for you.

• Manage and supervise technical projects onboard ships during operation and dry dock periods
• Represent the shore‑side organization onboard vessels
• Coordinate and align activities between ship crews, shore‑side teams, contractors, and external service providers
• Ensure compliance with all HESS standards, safety regulations, and company procedures during project execution
• Plan, monitor, and control technical project activities to ensure quality, performance, and timely delivery
• Support refit, modification, and machinery system projects from preparation through completion
• Identify technical issues, operational risks, and project constraints and implement appropriate solutions
• Maintain continuous communication with all stakeholders to minimize operational impact
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates
• Support team missions and contribute to project preparation and execution
• Share lessons learned and propose improvement initiatives
• Follow corporate policies, including Code of Conduct, audit procedures, and internal control requirements

Your Profile

• Educational background in marine engineering or a comparable technical discipline
• Proven experience in ship operations and onboard technical projects
• In‑depth knowledge of ship machinery and systems
• Strong understanding of HESS standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage technical projects in an operational maritime environment
• Strong coordination and stakeholder‑management skills across onboard and shore‑side teams
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical capabilities
• Clear and effective communication skills in an international environment
• Willingness and ability to travel and work onboard ships for approximately 40% of the time
• Availability to work from Hamburg, Germany as the office location
• Very good command of the English language (English is our company’s official language)
