Your Tasks
The Project Manager Factory Design is part of the Global Engineering Team that leads factory development and asset investment in our global production network. This involves creating and implementing site development plans that build a long-term investment pipeline for our factories to maximize business impact through production capabilities. Additionally, the role drives the capital expenditure (capex) process for asset investments, requiring strong stakeholder management and communication skills. During project execution, the role partners with local project leaders to ensure excellent project delivery by applying latest learnings across the global network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Development Planning: Establish comprehensive site development plans for new and existing factories, ensuring alignment with global engineering standards and business objectives.
- Portfolio Management: Build and maintain a long-term investment pipeline for the factory network, ensuring strategic alignment with company goals. Enable cross functional priority setting and orchestrate must win initiatives in the organization.
- Capex Process: Drive the capex process for asset investments, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Continuous business case tracking during execution ensuring delivery against defined success criteria.
- Project Co-Ownership: Partner with local project leaders to co-own the success of engineering projects, acting as a global partner and providing strategic guidance and enable effective project steering to maximize business impact.
- Collaboration: Promote strong collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Quality, Safety, Real Estate, Capacity Management and other key areas in relation to capex projects and strategy.
- Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and leverage opportunities for continuous improvement across the organization and take responsibility to develop team’s core processes. Further strengthen project management standards and leverage lessons learned through out the global network effectively and translate into core design standards for factory design.

Your Profile
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Long-term proven track record in Supply Chain/Engineering positions, with relevant professional experience in production, manufacturing, process, and plant engineering.
- Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage many stakeholders at all levels and across different geographies.
- Innovative mindset, challenging the status quo and continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes and solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to navigate a matrix organization, understand complex challenges, and facilitate strong decision-making.
- High communicative competence and cooperation skills, also at the international level.
- Confident appearance and persuasive power.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and target-oriented working methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
