About the role
As (Jr.) Process Engineer you are responsible for the process capability in the field of etching and you will be part of the LITEC section at the production site in Hamburg.
What you will do
- Ensure technological process capability and process stability of the approved process steps in the area of etching
- Responsible for the control of the assigned Statistical Process Control (SPC) / Capability & Performance (CPK) values and responsibility for the measures to be derived
- Independent processing of error messages in the task area (Red Square / Non Conforming Lot, error database)
- Identification and processing of process-related rejects / quality weaknesses in the area of responsibility
- Evaluation of the technological process capability and process stability for new process modules
- Cooperation and release of new process modules (ICR, process module release) Participation in the selection, testing, introduction and release of new/additional systems
- Participation in creating the necessary instructions (e.g. work instructions, training plans, OCAPs...)
- Implementation of training measures Participation in the creation of the Process Step FMEA's
What you will need
- Completed Masters Degree in natural sciences
- Ideally relevant experience in semiconductor technology
- Analytical thinking scheme
- Planning and organizational skills and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and social skills in dealing with many interfaces creativity and assertiveness
- Fluency in Germany and good command of English, spoken and written

Als (Jr.) Process Engineer sind Sie für die Prozessfähigkeit im Bereich Ätzen zuständig und sind Teil der Sektion LITEC am Produktionsstandort Hamburg.
Ihre Hauptaufgaben:
- Sicherstellung der technologischen Prozessfähigkeit und Prozessstabilität der freigegebenen Prozessschritte im Aufgabenbereich Etching
- Verantwortliche Kontrolle der zugeordneten SPC / CPK-Werte und Verantwortung für die abzuleitenden Maßnahmen
- Eigenverantwortliche Bearbeitung von Fehlermeldungen im Aufgabenbereich (Roter Platz / Non Conforming Lot, Fehlerdatenbank)
- Identifizierung und Bearbeitung von prozessbedingten Ausschussschwerpunkten /Qualitätsschwächen im Aufgabenbereich
- Bewertung der technologischen Prozessfähigkeit und Prozessstabilität bei neuen Prozessmodulen
- Mitarbeit und Freigabe neuer Prozessmodule (ICR, Prozessmodulfreigabe)
- Mitarbeit bei der Auswahl, Erprobung, Einführung und Freigabe neuer/zusätzlicher Anlagen
- Mitarbeit bei Erstellung der notwendigen Anweisungen (z.B. Arbeitsanweisungen, Trainingsplänen, OCAP‘s…)
- Durchführung von Schulungsmaßnahmen
- Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung der Process Step FMEA‘s
Ihr Profil
- Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium in einer naturwissenschaftlichen Fachrichtung
- Idealerweise relevante Berufserfahrung in der Halbleitertechnologie
- Analytisches Denkvermögen
- Planungs- und Organisationstalent und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
- Teamfähigkeit und soziale Kompetenz im Umgang mit vielen Schnittstellen
- Kreativität und Durchsetzungsvermögen
- Fließende Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
