In the area of OEI, we are developing the nice™ system, an award-winning in-flight entertainment and cabin management system. A young, helpful Scrum team is looking for motivated students for exciting tasks.

  • Further development of 3D moving map software in C++/Qt with OpenGL
  • Customization in QML, json
  • Data processing/automation of updates in Ruby, Python
  • Further development of unit tests/system tests and integration into our build infrastructure in Jenkins, automated documentation

Requirements

To complete an internship in our company, you must be at least in your third semester at the time of the internship.

  • Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (current enrollment certificate and written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
  • Ongoing studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable engineering sciences for the entire duration of the internship
  • Strong interest in agile software development
  • First practical experience with software development in C++, Ruby or Python, preferably C++
  • Basic knowledge of tools and methods in the field of software development, such as Git, Linux
  • Bonus: knowledge of Qt, Docker, Doxygen, QML, OpenGL, SQLite, geodata
