Tasks
During the internship, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare for your career and gain experience in all aspects of aircraft- for example, in the areas of materials analysis, strategy, product and project management, logistics, lean management, and research and development.
- Gaining practical skills with a focus on day-to-day operations of Lufthansa Technik AG’s Laboratory Services
- Development of modern laboratory analytics for fuel quality in flight operations
- Further development of analytical methods for aircraft system filters
- Identification of microbial contamination and biofilms
- Fluid dynamics evaluation and simulation
- Participation in workshops

Requirements
At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program in biochemistry, microbiology, chemical engineering, other engineering or natural science disciplines, or comparable fields of study.
- Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or an internship between the bachelor’s and master’s programs (Gap Year)
- Ability to analyze and present complex issues convincingly
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Proficiency with standard MS Office programs (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
