CMS & Technical Documentation Manager (m/f/d)

As the CMS & Technical Documentation Manager (m/f/d) within Engineering, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving our XML-based documentation environment. You define documentation concepts, standards, and content structures while ensuring efficient documentation processes across the organization. A key focus of the role is the administration and further development of Docufy TechPubStudio (TPS) and its integration with Teamcenter, including XML standards, properties, icons, and workflows. Working closely with engineering and documentation stakeholders, you ensure high-quality, consistent, and compliant technical documentation.

YOUR TASKS

  • Own and continuously improve the Engineering CMS landscape, with a focus on Docufy TechPubStudio (TPS) and its integration with Teamcenter
  • Define, implement, and maintain XML-based documentation standards, content models, templates, and style guidelines
  • Develop documentation concepts and content structures to ensure consistency, usability, and reusability of technical content
  • Act as the central point of contact for CMS-related topics and support stakeholders on standards, processes, and best practices
  • Drive CMS-related improvements, system enhancements, and process optimization initiatives
  • Coordinate documentation activities and collaborate with System Leads, Technical Writers, Component Responsibles, and other content providers
  • Ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality documentation delivery throughout engineering development projects

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Engineering, Technical Documentation, Information Management, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in Content Management Systems, technical documentation, or information architecture
  • Strong experience with XML-based content management systems; experience with Docufy TechPubStudio (TPS) is highly desirable
  • Experience working with Teamcenter and PLM-integrated documentation processes
  • Understanding of XML structures, metadata management, content modeling, and documentation standards
  • Fluent English; German and/or Spanish language skills are an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, quality focus, and ability to work effectively in an international environment
