Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Buyer (m/f/d) in the field of Project Management Customer Services for our client Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.
Your responsibilities:
- Implements and ensures application of the aerostructure and material spares Sub Commodity and Procurement Strategy in close cooperation with Multi-Functional Team (MFT) Leader and in accordance with existing Sourcing Procedures
- Contributes to the Material Procurement policy and profitability including customer support affairs
- Plans and implements cost reduction campaigns and projects
- Runs call for tender processes, negotiates changes requests, manages corresponding approvals and authorization processes and ensures associated ordering (National Response Corporation ordering and Master Data management)
- Supports the definition and implementation of supplier rating and development programs in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders and ensures appropriate follow-up of development measures
- Works with representatives of other functions in accordance with business requirements
- Responsible for contract management, conduct regular contract reviews to ensure compliance between contract terms and supplier activities as well as proactively manages risks and deviations and litigations by taking appropriate actions to protect Airbus interest
- Ensuring the smooth operation and effective use of critical contract management tools
- Leveraging the Skywise platform to develop insightful analyses that monitor and improve procurement performance
Your profile
- Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, economics or comparable
- Professional work experience in purchasing, IT / information systems, supplier, project and contract management
- Airbus experience an advantage
- First experience with Python
- Confident handling of SAP, SAP/MM-IM and Google Workspace
- Fluent English and good German, both spoken and written
- French is a plus
- Willingness to travel on business (1-4 times a year)
