Associate Project Manager

We're an ambitious game studio based in Hamburg, and we're in the early stages of developing our next mobile title. As an Associate Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our fast-paced prototyping phase: coordinating efforts, keeping timelines on track, and helping a passionate team turn creative ideas into playable reality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and organize tasks within 1-2 week sprint cycles, ensuring efficient workflow and clear task ownership.
- Monitor project timelines and milestone deadlines, proactively addressing risks or delays.
- Support people management efforts, including tracking team members’ availability, vacation, and sick leave to maintain realistic scheduling.
- Foster clear communication across teams to keep everyone aligned on project goals and status.
- Maintain an overview of feature progress and ensure critical components are on track.
- Cultivate a proactive “get the job done” mindset, helping the team stay focused and motivated.
- Assist in documentation and reporting to stakeholders regarding project status and potential roadblocks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in project management, ideally within game development or software projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based workflows.
- Experience working with Jira and other project management tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Plus: A Bachelor's degree in project management, game development, business, or related fields.
